Privacy Policy
Kavor is built local-first. This policy explains the limited information collected by the public website and desktop application and how it is used.
Effective August 7, 2026
Controller
Kavor by Rodrigo Fraga is currently operated by Rodrigo P. Fraga as an individual. He is the controller of personal information handled for the website, desktop application and Kavor communications.
Information we collect
When you create an account, accept the Terms, subscribe to Kavor updates or contact Kavor, we collect the information you submit, such as your account identifier, name, email address, legal-document versions, consent choices and message.
The website also receives standard technical request data needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and security signals.
The website loads a support chat service. It may process your IP address, browser data, local storage and the messages or files you send so the conversation can be delivered.
The packaged desktop application sends minimum product analytics, including application version, operating system, architecture, startup and basic engagement. An analytics provider may process an installation-scoped identifier and standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent to provide this measurement.
Website measurement
The website collects limited technical and interaction data to operate, measure and improve Kavor. Google Analytics and Meta process the minimum data needed for that measurement, including page views and release-artifact download handoffs.
Kavor sends no names, email addresses, account identifiers, Workspace content or advanced-matching data to Meta.
In the desktop application, minimum analytics remains active. The global “Share anonymous analytics and performance” setting is enabled by default and controls additional feature-usage events and performance measurements. Turning it off stops that additional collection, but not the minimum analytics.
Desktop telemetry does not include Workspace content, file paths, repository URLs, prompts, commands, Terminal output, your name, email address or account identifier.
How information is used
We use information to provide the website and application, manage newsletter subscriptions, send product and engineering updates you requested, respond to messages, prevent abuse, understand product reliability and improve Kavor’s performance and usability.
Kavor does not sell personal information.
Service providers
We use specialized infrastructure, identity, security, analytics and email-delivery providers only where needed to operate and protect Kavor. They receive the minimum information required for their function and act under contractual or equivalent data-protection obligations.
These providers may process information in countries outside yours. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and applicable safeguards.
Retention and your choices
Information is kept only while needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, security and dispute resolution. You may unsubscribe from emails, change website analytics consent through Privacy settings, and disable additional desktop analytics and performance collection in Kavor Settings at any time.
You may withdraw optional consent and request access, correction, portability or deletion of your personal information by contacting us, subject to applicable law. Kavor is not intended for children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Kavor evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
